SOFTSOURCE, INC. ANNOUNCES VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Rochester, N.Y., October 23, 2002 – SoftSource, Inc. has hired E. Robert Moline as vice president of business development. In this capacity, Moline will be responsible for marketing the company’s healthcare domain expertise. He will also focus on expanding their healthcare consulting business and find new opportunities to provide hospitals nationally with enhanced document workflow solutions. He will also look to leverage the company’s engineering excellence by fostering new business partnerships and encouraging new product development utilizing the wireless and mobile technologies. In the longer term, Moline will also help to market SoftSources’s hardware and software expertise beyond the Upstate New York market, specifically in Boston, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.

Moline has more than 25 years of high technology experience; much of it spent working with clients to integrate their business objectives with technology investments. His technical background has enabled him to design, plan and implement leading edge technology solutions utilizing relational databases, expert systems, neural networks and document management, to name a few. He has conducted seminars on systems integration; “Just-in-time” information access; strategic planning and value-based selling within organizations. Prior to joining SoftSource, he spent 15 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, three years as Director of Technology at the Harvard Business School, and three years as COO at Western New York Computing Systems.
